Enjoy a Life Worth Living!
"For as long as I can remember, I have always had an interest in understanding how and why people do the things they do. I spent many years working this out for myself! I also have a strong passion to support others through their troubles, to support people to suffer less and to build lives that are worth living."
Registered Psychologist BPsych(Hons), PostGrad DipPsych MAPS
When you’re living in misery and your life feels like it’s constantly on fire, life can feel unbearable. Hope can be lost. A life that’s worth getting out of bed for can seem pointless. My mission is to be a lighthouse for my clients. To shine a light to help people navigate their way, out of the misery. To hold hope for clients until they can hold it for themselves. Pain in life is inevitable, suffering though is optional. My vision is to help people to let go of the suffering. If you can develop the skills to do this, you can build a life that has meaning and just maybe create a life with joy and fulfilment in it. If I can do it, so can you.

How Can I Help You?
Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) is a modified type of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Its main goals are to teach people how to live in the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate their emotions, and improve their relationships with others
Trauma Focused CBT
Trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy addresses the specific emotional and mental health needs to overcome the destructive effects of early trauma.
Schema therapy is designed to address unmet core emotional needs. The approach supports clients to break unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving, which develop when core needs have not been met.
Prolonged Exposure Dialectical Behavior Therapy treats PTSD among high-risk and multi-facet individuals who are suffering tremendously.
Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy focuses on all forms of eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and other similar states.
I provide DBT based skills groups. I offer skills groups for adults and for teens and their parents.
Cognitive behavioural therapy is a psycho-social intervention that aims to improve mental health. CBT focuses on challenging and changing cognitive distortions and behaviours, improving emotional regulation, and developing personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.
Specialist Supportive Clinical Management focuses on anorexia nervosa. It is a form of evidence-based treatment like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT).
I have provided numerous training opportunities to psychologist’s, counsellors, occupational therapists, nurses, medical staff, GP’s, support workers and peer workers in working more effectively with Borderline Personality Disorder and on trauma-informed care.
